The Newport Health and Wellbeing Centre is our new integrated mental health and community hub located on the Isle of Wight, bringing together physical and mental health services in one convenient location.
The centre will provide a range of physical health services, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and telemedicine, alongside dedicated mental health support.
The centre features:
- 11 treatment and therapy rooms for physical health checks and mental health support
- A confidential space for new referrals, remote consultations, and private phone calls
- Facilities for group work and community use
- A community café (opening in the coming weeks)
For our community and patients, the centre will:
- Provide joined-up services for improved continuity of care
- Improve accessibility with modern, centrally located facilities
- Help prevent mental health needs from escalating
The centre will also benefit staff by offering:
- Co-located teams for physical and mental health, making joint working easier
- Shared case knowledge for better patient outcomes
- A modern, accessible working environment
