Your feedback

It is iListen upmportant to us that you have an opportunity to give feedback and share your views on the care you receive. Sharing your experiences helps us to shape and improve our services across the Trust so that we can provide the best possible patient care.

Whether your feedback is positive or negative, we would like to know. There are a number of ways you can tell us about your experience:

Talk to a member of staff involved in your care. An important part of their job is to listen to what you have to say and to try to respond to any concerns you may have.

Our survey questions have been co-produced with service users, family and carers, and staff to ensure that we ask about what is important to you. An individual patient experience survey is available for each team and is openly available to all patients to provide feedback at any point whilst receiving care with our services.

In addition to our Trust patient experience survey we also participate in national patient surveys for our Mental Health services. These are run by an independent provider on behalf of the Trust with, anonymised, results shared nationally to ensure the experience of our patients helps improve patient care across other similar Trusts.

The NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) was created to help our commissioners understand whether you are happy with the services provided or where improvements may be needed. It is a quick and anonymous way to give your views after receiving NHS care or treatment.

The NHS community mental health patient experience survey is annual survey by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and asks a random sample of service users to complete an anonymous questionnaire about their experince.

We also participate in national patient surveys for our mental health services. These are run by an independent provider on behalf of the Trust with, anonymised, results shared nationally to ensure the experience of our patients helps improve patient care across other similar Trusts.
