About the service
This is a community service for adults with epilepsy. A registered nurse with additional qualifications supports individuals to manage their epilepsy as best possible, giving advice and guidance around seizures, treatment and lifestyle.
What we do
The Service supports individuals to manage their epilepsy as best possible, giving advice and guidance around seizures, treatment, lifestyle and giving information and support.
We offer community clinics and home visits where more appropriate and link closely with other services including the Wessex Neurology Centre.
Accessing the service
We offer this service to:
- Any adult ( from 16 years old for support with transition) with a diagnosis of Epilepsy who is registered with a Southampton City GP.
- Referrals from Consultant Neurologists, UHS (acute hospital), GPs and Community Services
- Self referrals are also accepted
