Domiciliary Phlebotomy

What we do

The service provides a housebound service across Southampton. The service provides approximately 12,000 venesections per year.

To provide a domicillary phlebotomy service for housebound patient. Service provision is for people who are unable to leave their house for transportation in a standard domestic vehicle without other than basic assistance, or who are terminally ill.

Accessing the service

Referrals are only accepted by health professionals.
