Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare are delighted to announce the return of our annual staff awards, The Healthcare Hero Awards.
After the overwhelming response to last year’s first-ever Healthcare Hero Awards, where more than 500 nominations were shared across the Trust, we’re thrilled to be returning for a second year to celebrate individuals and teams who dedicate their time, skills, and compassion to care for others.
The Healthcare Hero Awards are our Trust's way of saying thank you to our staff for everything that they do to make a difference in the lives of those who use our services and colleagues. From the ward to the office, from inpatient services to the community, we want to recognise and reward all the heroes who make our Trust what it is. After all, not all heroes wear capes!
Nominations have now closed. What happens after I nominate?
The nomination process for the Healthcare Hero Awards will run for six weeks. A panel of judges will carefully review all nominations and will help us shortlist the finalists for each category.
Those shortlisted will all be invited to a special awards ceremony, where we’ll assemble to honour the remarkable contributions of your Healthcare Heroes, and our 12 category winners will be revealed.
