Resident Doctors Strikes
The British Medical Association (BMA) has announced that Resident Doctors will be taking strike action, in the form of a full walkout from 7am on 7 April until 6.59am on 13 April 2026.
Resident Doctors employed by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust are eligible to take part in these strikes. We fully support and respect the legal right of our staff to participate in these strikes.

Keeping Patients Safe
Our top priority remains the safety and wellbeing of our patients and the continued delivery of services.
Plans have been put in place to ensure that this is case, however, as part of our planning a small number of routine, or non-urgent appointments and procedure may have been rescheduled.
If your appointment is affected, you should have already been contacted directly. If you have not heard from us, please attend your appointment as planned.
