"We are incredibly proud to achieve QISMET accreditation for our YouTube education channel. Empowering people with the knowledge and confidence to manage their condition is a key part of diabetes care, and our videos help bring that support directly into people's homes."
The accredited channel supports the service's wider aim of helping people build the skills, confidence and understanding needed to successfully self-manage their diabetes and improve their long-term health outcomes.
Patients praised the videos in their feedback, “The videos I received from the diabetes team have been very helpful, especially as you can watch again if more detail is required" and "the information provided both beforehand in the videos and during the session was invaluable and I came away feeling so much more confident. Can't thank them enough."
As demand for flexible, digital healthcare resources continues to grow, the channel provides a valuable source of trustworthy information that can be accessed whenever patients need it.

Digital resources such as these high-quality educational videos help make trusted healthcare information more accessible, giving people the flexibility to learn about and manage their condition at a time and pace that suits them. By combining clinical expertise with digital technology, we can support greater self-management, improve patient experience and ensure more people can access the information they need to live well with diabetes.”
