Thank you to everyone who took the time to apply for a Brighterway charity place in the London Marathon 2027. We have been delighted by the level of interest and are incredibly grateful to so many people wanting to support Brighterway and help raise funds to benefit local NHS services across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Applications are now closed and we are no longer accepting new submissions.
Our panel is currently reviewing all applications received. As we have a limited number of charity places available, we want to ensure that each application is given careful consideration. We recognise the time and thought that applicants have put into sharing their fundraising ideas, personal motivations and plans for supporting the charity.
All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by close of business on Wednesday 5 August 2026.
